Homecooked dish with Lychee

how to de-seed the lychee and still have it maintain its whole shape?
I used a small knife and do a circular cut on top, then gently around the seed. Then kiap the seed wif a scissor/ tweezer, gently twist and take out

Should try strawberry sweet and sour pork.... rbr having this at hai tien lo ages ago... but sadly they stopped offering it the next time I went.... kinda felt strawberry fragrance compliments the dish better but could be just me....

Would be better if the pork is 半肥瘦 and smaller chunk...

I guess so..? Looks pretty much like lychee version, don't actually have to eat the strawberry to get the fragrance so should be with the sauce..... heh sorry know how to eat but dunno how to cook :s13:

I use soft bone meat, then debone. The meat has some marbling fats on it so not so lean.

True cantonese style always use 半肥瘦... for the flavour and 口感...

But i guess nowadays pple more health conscious...

It could be they blended strawberry into a paste/ sauce.

If no 半肥瘦... this will be 2nd choice... usually they use for char siew... Char Siew can be 30/70 fat/lean ratio...
不见天 is good for making char siew. It can oso be good to use for stew type like lor bak and 猪脚醋.

If wan 梅头 meat (半肥瘦) then better to get fr butcher fr wet mkt. Coz the shoulder butt meat at the supermkt is not 100%
