My Windows 10 PC is connected on the same router as my Apple TV.
I have enabled the HomeGroup on Windows 10 and turn on sharing on the specific directory with videos, but the share movie files are not visible on the VLC or Infuse APP inside Apple TV.

Do I miss out something? I want to watch my videos from my PC to my Apple TV.

Thanks.

If I'm not wrong, the Apple TV only works over Apple devices.

Or you can try putting your videos inside iTunes, and enable Home Sharing. Then on your Apple TV, go to Computer, select your iTunes library and play it from there.

When I run the VLC and Infuse in Apple TV, it shows the shared network but I cannot see anything. I suspect this may be the configuration on the Windows 10 Homegroup
