I think the reason might be Siri. It isn’t tweaked to recognise our ‘slang’. Other than that, I see no issues as just a home speaker.

Yes it’s Siri definitely. Then again, it’s cheaper to buy elsewhere.

Unfortunately there’s no English (Singapore) for the HomePod yet.

Even normal HomePod is not sold till now in apple singapore.

For those with homepods, have you tried pairing it with your Mac via airplay 2 to use as speakers?
I'm curious to know how troublesome ( or not) it is when the Mac goes to sleep and I need to connect via airplay to get audio again.
Now that the minis are out, I'm thinking of getting one to explore since the price point is quite friendly.

Confirmed with SG apple store they wont carry Homepods n homepods mini
