from now till Feb19, you still have 2mths or less.
you can also opt for showroom car or test drive car as alternative for the car replacement. but you have to try on all showrooms for the options.

but final decision is your choice. no pressure.. :s12:

Asked liao. Their reply "If i sell u the showroom car or test drive car, i got nothing left".

Less than 2 mth to get another ride is definitely too tight unless ex-stock or pre owned car. Some PI promised to do it for me but i have reservation.

there are few versions of FIT & Jazz.
1) 1.3 or 1.5?
2) hybrid or non-hybrid?
3) sensing hybrid, sport hybrid or normal hybrid?

when looking at Jazz, most accessories are in the package.
the additional accessories are on the KM website.

but for FIT, you only get the body and engine.
the rest will have to get from the menu (is like ala carte pattern).
I think what Orphan means Kosong is what I think I saw the other time (body and engine) at PI showroom.

rule of thumb - do negotiate on package and accessories.. since is short timing, get someone to go down with you as 2nd opinion (look over your shoulder).

Clarified with one pi. There are 2 variants for hybrid. These variants also applies to 1.3 petrol

I guess kosong means:

1) No leather seat
2) No iDrive
3) No audio head unit
4) No in car camera
5) No reverse Sensor
6) No solar film
7) No car mat

Package should consists of:
1) 6 months road tax
2) x yrs/xxxk km warranty
8) Free labour/parts for servicing within warranty

KM can offset car price if opt out free servicing or shorten the free servicing period. Good for those prefers minimum regular servicing like me i.e. only change engine oil and filter on a regular basis. The rest don't really need to care and always be alert for any tell tale sign that something is going to break down.

Kosong means the lower specs or cheaper version? Went to a pi and saw 2 hybrid versions. The cheaper version does not have some functions and features e.g. no signal light on side mirror, no cabin light, no buttons on steering wheel, no magic folding rear seat etc.

What about fit petrol 1.3 version? What are the differences between the 2 variants?

Went to KM and saw the jazz. Mechanical controls on dashboard. No keyless entry and no push start.

By kosong, I mean the standard package they list as "1.5 (A)". This is the cheaper version.
The F-package one is listed as "1.5 F-Package (A)".

Both 1.5 (A) and 1.5 F-Package (A) Fit Hybrid have same specs, has touchscreen A/C control, keyless entry/lock and push button start.

However, the F-Package come with those extra features you listed. If you can get a good price for the F-Package, it's quite worth it. Just note that FC for 1.5 (A) is listed as 37.2 km/l while FC for 1.5 F-Package (A) is 34 km/l. I cannot understand what features could be causing the lower FC.

Now, for me, it's the same reasoning for whether to pay extra to get Honda sensing. Very attractive, but if I pay more for 10 extra features, but in reality I know I will only use only 2 features, a bit boh-hua. Esp if the 2 features I want can done cheaper and more to my liking aftermarket.

For Fit Petrol 1.3, all the PIs only sell the F Package now. So there's not really any variants to compare. Unless you are looking at getting an older model 2nd hand.

Ahh, ok, in that case, I probably used the wrong term.
Mine is the standard package version with full accessories...

Kah motor mugen body kit is not cheap. Probably more than 3k. Your PI mugen kit also original?

what! i didn't know le... it is get from their accessories shop?

It's not listed in their webpage under accessories, but the SA told me it's an available option from them. So probably easier to call up your SA to ask.

Those that know will understand when I said "Mugen Style" ;)

Full 5 pc orig is around 3k+ in general.

KM got offer, 2,880, so I guess they got bulk discount or a deal with Mugen.

Replica around 1k from a couple of local workshops.

If willing to spend a bit of time and effort, buying replica online and ownself get workshop to install should be even cheaper.

when I say try all showrooms, i mean other car brands too. not only KM since you only have 2months or less ($10k on paper that cannot be converted to cash) :p

if you go for FIT, look for someone who can help you on reliable PI.
ask Orphan for his contact, fake_orange or your friend lo..

if you manage to purchase Jazz, then go back to KM for major servicing and can opt to do minor maintenance with outside workshop (this is what most pple do) :s12:

Yes Jazz RS comes with "Mugen" bodykit.
there is big difference btw FIT Mugen bodykit from Jazz "Mugen" bodykit la.

Fit spoiler, front grill and exhaust looks more fierce than Jazz :s13:

I should rephrase in this way.
each of us will encounter differently at PI showroom. what your PI offer is the same pattern as KM (listed in their brochure)
but there are also PI whom only offer car body and engine. the rest of accessories are from the ala carte menu.

thats why some complaints that some FIT from PI comes with missing rear wiper.. (sounds familiar) :s13::s13:
