planning to go on a 5d4n trip to hongkong in end september. wondering when's a good time to book tickets & rooms? is it too early hahaha
there's early grabs sales to hk at cathay, 308.50 return. is it considered cheap? i think jetstar is ard 300 too without luggage.

also any hotels to recommend? main thing has to be near MTR stations, either side is fine. budget for flight + 4 nights hotel S$600. err expedia has some choices.. cosmo, silka seaview, mini hotel causeway bay, sohotel etc....

btw, has anyone stayed in Lee Gardens Guest House or Dragon Hostel? They seem to be the slightly better reviewed ones amongst the other budget accommodation. izzit 'worth' bc for expedia, the difference btw the hostels and hotels like not very large.

thanks very much for any inputs.

Air tickets - if got promotions, just book. Because it's not guaranteed that they will always have promotions.

Hotels near MTR (I only know these) - Prudential, Shamrock, City View, Royal Park, Royal Plaza. For the rest, you can just go any booking sites and check the map.

Silka Seaview isn't exactly near MTR. Quite a long walk. Rooms are small too. Toilets are too small. Friends complained their butts are kissing the wall when showering, lol.

Caritas Bianchi Lodge is a good choice, few min walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR and temple street is just next to it.
