Anyone noticed that after updating to MagicOS 9.0, there was a drop in battery life? Used to be able to last a day now around half day or more.

This week's new 9.0.0.151 changelog mentions battery improvement. Lots of new UI and UX goodies too

New update today to 9.0.0.171.....changelog lists several gallery/AI benefits but in practice, hard to see what they actually really do.
The AI subtitles feature is useful. Used it to cover up subtitles that's in other languages for certain videos. I was hoping they would push the AI image to video but didn't see it.

My battery life is getting worst though with each update.

Ah..... not just me then. Yes, battery definitely taken a hit this year. Starting to get itchy fingers for the V2Flip or even Xiaomi Flip 2 if either go global soon

Yes. The battery started taking a hit after the major os update to Android 15. Then gradually got worst. I think the battery drops abt 10% or more overnight on standby by itself. Not sure if warranty will honor a battery change. Although this should be more on software than physical battery having issues.

based on Honor warranty if they tested less than 80% capacity will be able to change battery under warranty. But I doubt most of us here buy from Malaysia.

Looks clean and the hardware is strong.

Any bros experience huge drop in screen time? My phone is close to 2 years and recently can only manage screentime of 4 to 5 hours (max).

On Android 15 Magic OS version 9.

When its new it can last 1.5 days. Now I have to charge before the day is over. Normal use only no gaming.

And sure if it is due to battery health or OS not optimizing the battery.
