Vivo x100pro not available locally. Although shops like litemobile claimed buying through them got local warranty etc, but i dont see it on vivo SG website, on vivo shopee or lazada as well. So i will treat it as no local warranty ba

For a more fuss free experience for wife, i recommend a phone with local warranty... Happy wife happy life

Anyway, getting Malaysia set is not trouble for me, I travel to Malaysia once per month. My wife's family there.

And consider huawei m20pro she able to use for 8 years+ without issues with almost zero significant scratch, I assume, she is very caring on her phone, so likely the chance for warranty claim is very minimum unless manufacturing defect or badlucks lol..

she everyday kaopeh battery life front of me, very irritating lol..thinking to get new one for her but I from IT background have 选择困难症 especially deal with phone, always look at spec and cant decide.

True... let me prepare a proposal to her...gonna list down all pros and cons for each phone and get her to acknowledge, so she wont backstab me after get the phone and got problem..

"Accountability" is big issues on marriage. Must get her acknowledgement first before get for her...abo later got daiji...siao...kena nag and blame and u suckthumb gonna loss money and get her another one..

i agree with what keyoke suggested. Time taken to travel in just to get the phone fix esp when jam or need to wait for spare parts. There a few of them letting go at a good rate can consider getting local set instead.

Even if u sell now, i think shop only taking in at 1100? Just keep it if lose too much.

If u are ok with the phone, why waste the money? Unless u are like me, like to try different phones

Share the same thoughts as you but since I've the magic 6 pro at less than 1.2k, will stick to it. The camera is probably better than OnePlus 12 and the main selling point is ability to capture moving objects without blur, that itself is a win especially if you have kids or pets.

End of the day, for 400 more you get full 2 years local warranty and most probably a better camera with proper face unlock instead of fingerprint so you gotta decide what is the value of $400 cause the screen res of OnePlus 12 is a little higher than magic 6.
