Disappointing about the price. The reason precious gen were attractive was because it has comparable specs with other brands but selling at lower price. Now honor doesn't have that advantage anymore.

EU pricing not indicative of what it will retail in SG.
Magic5 Pro was launched in MWC 2023 and the suggested RRP was €1199 but when it came to SG, it was only SGD $1.2K+.
No manufacturer will do such steep increasing in pricing from last gen to the next gen .
Not even Apple and Samsung.
So don't worry.. but I dun think we will get it cheap like what we did with Magic5 Pro this time round.

But if you take OnePlus as an example, OnePlus 11 launched here at 1199 with free buds 2 pro but OnePlus 12 preorder price is 1399. That's a steep price increase between 16 to 20% for a brand like OnePlus which don't have a greater exposure like Samsung or Apple.

If u factor in the premiums

OnePlus 11 is $1199+$180=$1379
OnePlus 12 is $1399+$99(Premiums)=$1498
$1498-$1379=$119
Additional $119 for 512GB vs 256GB sounds about right to me.

So if today OnePlus 12 is launching a 256GB option and retails for $1249.
Point to note, $1249 is derived from looking at OnePlus 11 256GB vs OnePlus 11 128GB ($1199-$1049=$150)

So now

OnePlus 12 256GB is $1249+$99(Premiums)=$1348
OnePlus 11 256GB is $1199+$180=$1379

$200 difference here.

OnePlus 11 256gb, i pay 1199.. It comes with Phone, 100w charger, cable, casing and buds 2 pro.

OnePlus 12 512gb, i pay 1399. It comes with phone, 80w charger, cable and casing.

So i pay 200$ more and losing the buds 2 pro also. So in my simple math its around 16 to 20% more i pay.

Anyways this is just my way of decoding the price and comparing.

If you read the shopee store comments.. OnePlus 12 doesnt comes with charger in box. So they're throwing the charger for free. I guess its there old stock of 80w charger.

When i searched even the Magic 6 pro also dont come with the charger in box
