Hi Im back with another query on Honor magic pro 7. I realise that on gallery, honor seems to lack the capability to sort the album by people. I saw the people section but like I realise they manage to categorize all the picture by faces. I search on google it says I need to enable something but I look left and right there's no settings that can sort out more faces.

Can ask any pros here is there ways to fix this problem like Samsung able to categorize all faces from the pictures?

Go to AI albums. It auto sort the people by face. But it will need few days to sort out. I believed is runs at background at night when u are sleeping.

But I felt their facial sorting not as accurate as iphone

Thank you sir! What a life saver! i was contemplating just using google photos to sort out the all the faces. I realise that u are right.. i think google photo does a better job. like for the same face I would have more on google photos than AI album... hmm

Oh didn't know Google photos got this also.i went to Google photos ,other than photos and collection. No more already.

Previously using iphone.nv use Google photo before

After all discount, managed to get one at $939.56, but only 1 year warranty.

Received a faulty set and now pending Singtel to 1:1 exchange.
Can not power charged and show like this

I ordered one during the 6.6 sale and was delivered to my house on 10th June. But I still haven't returned back to SG to open and check. Hopefully my set is fine

New phone usually come with 35% power, so I am surprised to find that the battery is completely empty after turning on the device for the first time.

It been remained blank even put on power charger for an hour. This means I have to visit Honor Service Center.
Btw Singtel has exchange a new one but still faced same issue.

The exchange set also has the same issue? Wah, that's very scary. Now I am seriously contemplating whether to come back and open or just return without opening the package...

If I open the package and have any issues will they honor and do 1 to 1 exchange as my set was delivered 2 weeks ago? Highly doubtful..

Maybe I m the unlucky one, saw the review section of the product by Singtel store in Lazada and shopee, so far I m the only with issue, all others are happy with the phone

The service center is very conveniently located now at Plaza Singapura.

Finally got my working set after visiting the service centre. They will open and make sure the exchange set is working before passing to me. One good thing is the color of the phone that I got back is lunar shadow grey, where my faulty set is black. I ordered black is because in Singtel Store online store, black cost less than grey.

My set also battery totally empty. I need put on charger for about a few minutes then can power on. But so far so good.

Battery empty I think is a norm for Honor, but as long as you can charge and then power up, everything will be fine. My issue for the first 2 newly delivered, can not do so till I went to the service center to exchange.

Yeah my set thought no battery during first startup is doing well now. So far the phone is pretty awesome. It performance and battery life is almost the same as my OnePlus 13. Maybe the battery life is just slightly better than OP13??
