Honor's Magic8 series has been the subject of numerous leaks, and now we get a hint about its possible launch timeline.

Tipster Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo claims that Honor's flagship Magic8 series will be unveiled in mid-October, marking an earlier launch than the Magic7 lineup, which was announced in late October and went on sale early November 2024.

As per previous rumors, the Magic8 series could include up to four models, including the standard Magic8, Magic8 Pro, Magic8 Mini, and a Magic8 Ultra. Rumors suggest that the Mini and Ultra variants could be announced in early 2026.

The Honor Magic8 series phones are rumored to be available in four color options. All phones in the lineup could come with wireless charging, periscope camera, and ultrasonic in-display scanners. Honor is also said to offer large capacity batteries on the upcoming phones.

Meanwhile, the Honor Magic8 Mini is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and a 6.3-inch display while offering a thin build.

Honor is expected to unveil the Honor Magic 8 series of smartphones in October. Recent teasers released by the brand suggest that the Magic 8 Pro will come equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera like the Vivo X300 Pro and the Oppo Find X9 Pro. However, while the Vivo and Oppo offerings will have the Dimensity 9500 onboard, the Magic 8 Pro will set itself apart by featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Today, the tipster shared the key details about the Magic 8 Pro.

The tipster claims that the Honor Magic 8 Pro will be the only Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagship to feature both 3D ToF face recognition and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner like the Magic 7 Pro from last year. In terms of cameras, the device is said to feature a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor, wide aperture, and an 85mm focal length (to be determined).

He added that the Magic 8 Pro is also expected to pack a battery with a capacity starting in the 7,000mAh range. The device, which reportedly bears the BKQ-AN00 / AN80 model number, was recently spotted with a 90W fast charger in the database of China’s 3C certification platform.

Reports suggest that the Magic 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch flat OLED panel, whereas the Magic 8, expected to launch alongside, will have a slightly smaller 6.58-inch flat OLED screen.

So fast sell your Magic 7 Pro already! You probably just use about 3 months or so.
Yeah man. I bought it on impulse anyway and for a good price of around $850. I sold it for around $800 so it's not too bad. Get to use it for 3 mths.
