There is native double tap to wake screenI dun think there is such a native feature. You can raise or glance the phone within eye level to wak the screen but not to "lock the screen". Maybe a third-party app can do this.
Except for Vivo X Fold 3 Pro (global edition only available in Indonesia and India), I have used Z fold 6, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and now, the Magic V3. Which one is better as a daily driver? Magic V3 no doubt, simply because of its weight and feel on hand...just like a normal slab phone. Hence the transition for most average users will not be jarring. Pixel 9 Pro Fold has the biggest display at 8.03", just like Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, hence you will get more real screen estate, the only gripe is multi-tasking is limited to 2 working apps at a time, with app pairing and that's about all. One can argue that no one will use more than 2 apps at time. I tend to agree 99% of the time as a third app will take up the precious real estate which makes the user experience less useful...so restricting to 2 apps is actually not a bad move by Google. Let's be frank, do we really become more productive if we are using > 2 apps at a time? There is a reason why we only have 2 hands and a pair of eyes.You have used all the folds of every brand this year?
Yes, double-tap to wake screen is there but the OP is asking double-tap to "lock screen".There is native double tap to wake screen
Accessibility ->shortcut &gesture->wake screen
Or alternatively key in "double" in search bar in setting will do....
Tempted to try tempted glass sp ....but just dunno whether tempered glass will have any impact to the front screen magic pen usage....yet to try when I receive mine .Anyone got any recommendation where to buy a good quality tempered glass screen protector for the outer display? Do post here.
Ops pasieh....saw it wronglyYes, double-tap to wake screen is there but the OP is asking double-tap to "lock screen".
Are you referring to dual app mode - e.g. 2 separate FB and Whatapp account on a single phone?Does the Magic V3 have clone app functions natively?
We will never know until we try it. The safe bet is to use the TPU material screen protector as it will be more case-friendly, less smudges but some user may not like it due to it "feel" when your finger glides on the screen protector itself. I don't intend to use the pen on the outer screen too much and would rather unfold the phone to use it. So not really too much of an issue for me (at least).Tempted to try tempted glass sp ....but just dunno whether tempered glass will have any impact to the front screen magic pen usage....yet to try when I receive mine .
Like for your effort in typing your post ,you haven't tried using x fold3 pro yet though the Samsung OS should be still unrivaledExcept for Vivo X Fold 3 Pro (global edition only available in Indonesia and India), I have used Z fold 6, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and now, the Magic V3. As for Z Fold 6, I personally think that it s an all-rounder phone with very nice set of multi-tasking features...Samsung's One UI software has had matured over the last 6 generations, so much as that the user experience when using the phone in its unfolded state is second to none. The outer display at 6.3" is now more "tolerable" to use...it is NOT as bad as many make out to be. I will still heartily recommend the phone to anyone who wish to jump on the foldable bandwagon. The usefulness of the S-Pen is icing on the cake and it will provide hours of fun for creativity juice to flow. Let's also not forget that Samsung will probably be amongst the first external Android partners to have the latest Android features from Pixel series compared to other MIC foldables. If you don't want the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, then Samsung Z Fold 6 is the way to go.

Yes, battery life is important. The last thing we need is to have the battery die out through mid-day. Unless of course, you are in office setting most of the time and able to have ready access to a charger. Magic V3 charging is pretty good...but what kind of impact it will have on the battery lifespan for fast charging is something we need to find out for ourselves. The jury for the durablity of high speed charging for phones is still out there.Personally, battery life is utmost important regardless of HP or foldable usage
I think the latest is Honor Watch 5 already. And we don't even get that packaged with the phoneThe free gifts that Honor Singapore provide for the pre-order in Singapore market is a joke! At least provide the Magic Pen with PWP at 100 off the RRP of $159 to make sense. The "most" offending gifts of all that Honor Singapore keep dishing out is that "useless" watch - now in its fourth iteration and STILL NO NFC to support GPay. What a joke!!! Spend so much time and $$$ in the R&D for their phone but little to no improvement to their watches. Sigh...
This is a watered-down version of my review. Full of grammar mistakes. I have a review meant for a tech reviewing entity. Not based in Singapore though.Like for your effort in typing your post ,you haven't tried using x fold3 pro yet though the Samsung OS should be still unrivaled
Just sell the phone as soon as possible if you can...It is garbage to say the least. Even if you can sell at $50, do it!I think the latest is Honor Watch 5 already. And we don't even get that packaged with the phone

You should have taken the pen and carousell it, sure fetch higher than 59.Refunded my pen back to dv tech for $59.. So my v3 actually costs $1670 nia..
