Sorry I can't upload one now but there is a big black patch down the middle in the morning when unfolded. Now it is covering 3/4 of the phone. Anyone has experience dealing with their service center? Can get back up phone ?

Did you frequently fold n unfold it?

Wah shag.. for no reason when I unfold my phone .. there is crack across the holding crease of the phone .. zzzzzz it is just 1 month old...

The hinge is now rated for 500,000 folds (up from the 400,000 that the Magic V2), thanks to a new Honor Super Steel material that allows for a thinner hinge body (2.84mm), resulting in space for an extra set of swing arms for additional structural reinforcement. Going by Honor's claims, a power user who unfolds their device 200 times a day will still get close to 7 years of usage. That's assuming these users even stick around on the same phone for that long.

Just came back from service center. So apparently this is caused by me charging as it is. we need to unfold the phone to charge . Which is wierd because Honor did not mention that specifically and also I pointed out if we drive and attached this to car for Android auto.. how is it possible to leave it unfolded . But sounds like this is what it is from them. No stocks for r placement ,too have to wait 2-4 weeks

actually the phone when you plug in fast charge..got that warning..but it's only say it's for optimized charge..

evertime u plug in cable, it will prompt u to unfold to charge ah... I always unfold charge..
to prevent the heat from damaging the screen...

samsung...no worry...their 'fast' charge only go 25w...lesser heat than honor 66w

Well, personally i dont accept such things regardless it is elementary science or not. If there is this shortfall, i rather they remove the 66w charging and fallback to slower charging.

Users being users, i am sure more and more such cases will happen.

Yalor . Rent a car in Australia and the the car android auto is wired version . So expect us to unfold it ?

Their reason is not acceptable. Do u need to pay for the fix? If yes, need to fight to CASE. Since when it becomes a requirement to unfold to charge. If it is, they should explicility mentioned it and I would not have purchased it.

I personally won't accept this sorry to say if i need to live with this shortfall. A gadget is to ease our life and not give us more problem

It did say something like for optimal charging, pls unfold the phone. Don't know that are referring to crack at the screen.

Oppo Find N3 also support 67W super fast charging but it did not prompt the user to unfold to charge.

no issues charging at boosted 66W so far. even overheated once with a popup
