agreed with pixel fan thingy...
price wise.. now carousel, got ppl pulling down the price to 1880 liao sia. if next few weeks got ready stock.. sure flood... may even hit 1.7k when honor scarli selling at 2.1k.

maybe honor will bundle with watch or something with 2.1k..

those poeple selling 1880 haven't received the phone already selling.. maybe want to get the 899 voucher to get p9p or something use buyer to recoup cost..

I meant fat foldies like pixel fold, Find N and Surface Duo are all old, outdated processor, thick, heavy and lousy camera.

V3 SG sure will have bundle deal. But last yr's V2's bundled Honor Watch GS 3 cmi, Whatsapp can see cannot reply, in the end carousell it for $80. The hair dryer still in my storeroom bnib.

My find N screen blacked out, asked my sis bring to China oppo change screen, S$1k. Perhaps after repair keep as spare phone/spare tablet.
Doubt I can sell more than 1k for find N.

HONOR today issued an apology to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold owners as it prepares to unveil the HONOR Magic V3, the world’s thinnest inward-foldable smartphone, at IFA 2024.

The company previously hinted at the Magic V3’s advanced AI Defocus display technology and Google Cloud AI features ahead of its global debut.

Magic V3: Dimensions and Weight​

The HONOR Magic V3 boasts a remarkably slim profile, measuring just 4.35mm when unfolded and 9.2mm when folded. Weighing only 226 grams, it stands out as one of the lightest foldable phones available.

Recognizing the inconvenience experienced by Samsung Galaxy Z Fold users due to their device’s size and weight, HONOR has issued a formal apology.

Apology and Engraving​

To address potential disappointment among Samsung customers, HONOR has engraved a 166-word apology on the 2.84mm HONOR Super Steel hinge of the Magic V3.
This unique gesture was made possible through a collaboration with Graham Short, a renowned micro-artist celebrated for his intricate work on minuscule surfaces.

Known as the “Hands of a Genius,” Short tackled the challenge of engraving on the phone’s thin and durable metal, using diamond-tipped tools. The detailed engraving took 90 hours to complete and is readable only under a microscope due to the space limitations.
The full, 166-word apology reads:
Dear Samsung Galaxy Z Fold owners, we’re sorry. We know you were excited to buy a phone that folds in half and fits in your pocket, awkwardly. You were promised the future, a technical marvel, a world of boundless multitasking and performance.

And now, you’re probably looking at the new HONOR Magic V3 and feeling a little… betrayed. Size matters, and we feel your pain. Like being tipped for a gold medal and then coming last in the race, the knowledge that a thinner, lighter, and more durable foldable exists is enough to make anyone question their choices.
We get it. You were an early adopter, a pioneer bravely venturing into the uncharted territory of foldable screens with questionable durability. You deserve better. In fact, you deserve a gold medal.
In all seriousness, we at HONOR are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and bringing you the best possible foldable experience. We’re just saying… it’s okay to feel let down. We’d feel the same way.

HONOR at IFA 2024​

HONOR will officially launch the Magic V3 and its AI technology on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM (CEST) in Berlin.

The event will be livestreamed on the HONOR YouTube channel and will also showcase the HONOR MagicPad 2 and HONOR Magicbook Art 14.

On Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM (CEST), HONOR will host a keynote and panel discussion on the future of AIPC and on-device AI with leading industry EXPERTS.
