From samsung to honor, learning curve is not that bad except too used to samsung features for years so some areas are not the same.

May I know how come my gpay icon don't appear at lock screen left bottom corner even when setting is ticked ?? Or just turn nfc will auto use gpay?

The wallet icon is on the bottom left at lock screen. You need to confirm set gpay as default payment in nfc and make sure when tap..your phone is awake or unlock. Google will also ask you later say if every time need verify for transport or can skip.

Resolved. Yea needs set in NFC to receive gpay as default app thank U!

Ah complaints about the short battery life is worrying me. I hate carrying a power bank (usually don't have to on my huawei)

Huawei battery is good. But I still need to carry 2 Huawei phones most of the time as I no longer bring wallet or cards with me when I go out.

Unlock your phone and tap enough le for gpay if u want to pay at shop.. that more convenient then Samsung where need to swipe up and finger print

No wonder. Cos I still need to unlock to use gpay because need to unlock to turn on nfc each time.

In my case, i am using the smaller S24 as my primary phone with all the banking and work related apps. The foldables or the other phones are like companions to use along and not a replacement.

You need to disable it in Google Wallet. Due to need update, you need to disable verification when using transport payment.
Top right corner - Wallet settings - Verification settings - Transit payments - disable Verification required
