Same issue with zf7 folks. The solution is to not allowed permission to contact for whatsapp.. then allow again.. once u do that it will sync all again properly.

Can't leh, can't get it to work. If I turn off Contacts access, it fixes like 80% of the names, but when I turn it on again, the contacts go haywire again.

Unfortunately the Honor software is really not great so far.. Quite buggy.

Uninstall n reinstall many times then restore till cannot

If I don't allow WhatsApp to access contacts then cannot restore the backup

Can show me step by step how to resolve this?

Evaluation period haha... Initially wanted to get the dawn gold but felt that the thick bezels dont go well with the gold frame... Thus took the black which is really sleek and gorgeous...

Try give SMS access and turn off contact access and turn on again...mine solved after done this.

Did anyone who own the phone manage to get dual touch input to work? Meaning if I have 2 apps opened side by side on the inner screen, both apps will be able to register 2 separate touches simultaneously as I interact with both using my left and right thumb concurrently.

Currently if I have my finger touching the app on the left side of the screen, it won't register any touches on the right app when I use my right thumb to touch it.

I didnt encounter any WA issue. I basically uninstalled the WA app it cloned over from my old device, reinstalled it through Play Store, and restored my chat backup that was from my old phone and stored on the cloud.

Mine okay.. for chrome and telegram both can swipe up down simultaneously.. which app did you try??

I set permissions not to allow access to Contacts immediately after I download whatsapp from play store?

If I do that, WhatsApp will skip the restore right?

Did the same too but all screwed up.
When I transferred my WhatsApp from my 2nd line to the Honor magic pro 7, i didn't have this issue

No issue with Whatsapp and Whatsapp business restore... Facebook if opened on front screen when unfolded will appear as full sized app too.. now just waiting for update to get the triple split screen...
