Hot Spring Resort

Hi All,

I planning to stay in Taipei for a few night and probadly another 2 to 3 nights in a hot spring resort in Dec. I have 10 pax - old folks and 2 kids.

1. Any recommendation on where is the Hot Spring Resort and how far is it from Taipei.
2. What transportaion made would you recommend to get to the resort?

If you dont wish to venture out of Taipei, then i would suggest Beitou area where there are a lot of 温泉会馆。You can reach Xinbeitou via mrt and transfer to taxi to reach the 会馆。

Those more adventureous can go Wulai which is outskirt of Taipei.

Even more adventureous can go Lushan stay overnight at the 温泉饭店 and soak silly then next day go Cingjing and stay overnight at "The Old English", then tour Wuling, Hehuanshan, Taroke and stay overnight at Hualien then fly back to Taipei the next day.
