yeap.

APA Hotel Keisei Ueno-Ekimae.

the check in/out timing is a killer.

check in at 3pm and check out is 11am.

i quite familiar wif ueno cos i like to roam ard e hotels to chk e place.
the place is for toursit like thai, taiwan, hongkees and even angmo, they just throw e luggage at e small lobby before chk in and chk out.
i tink most sing flight to narita land early like 8-10am during nite flight, so by skyline can reach there 10am, so u choose tis? for easy luaggage dropoff and pick up to later flight?
i chk e hotel site b4, e rm size seem small, like to comment?

A few areas which I've stayed before - Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Marunouchi (around Tokyo station), Shiodome, Odaiba. All are within walking distance to JR Yamanote Line except for Odaiba. There's malls nearby and family friendly.

$200-250 per room? You might need to look at business hotel chains or hotels around Ueno and Ikebukuro.

from my understanding there are like 5-6 flights (overnight)which lands in the early morning be it NRT or HND.

yeah they do have the option of leaving the bag and check in later at 3pm.

is safe to store your bag there, no issues so far.

if you want to check in early or check out late, it would ¥1000 (nett) per hour.

Room is quite small even for a double pax room.

no locker though.
you can chose the lake view or the city view.

there is a fridge but no drinks/snacks. no complimentary water bottle as well.

but they do have complimentary coffee/tea sachets, electric kettle, hair dryer, bath robe x2, toilet slippers x 2, slippers x2 provided with usual amenities.

As for the television few channels for viewing FOC if not have to purchase a VOD card worth ¥1000.

if u fly to haneda, if u ok to stay kawasaki, there is a nikko hotel, 4 star.
sorry i nvr stay there b4, ever got plan, but i not really sure abt e size, it seem stated like 14-18m square, u try and let me noe is gd or not, haha.
pice below 150sgd, get a coach tfrm haneda to e kawaski station, 15min and back to haneda oso easy.
i been to kawasaki cos i roam ard e red light district, dun worry, it still quite a walking distance frm e hotel, if u dun roam too far.
there is a mall there, normally those big town will have mall and have local/express train stop.
well, to access e ring, one way is to get to shbuya, but most attraction is still very accessible like e south, central, west area..

haha, shibuya is e place u can find e most jav, if u can speak japanese, can call for health escort.
i dun like shibuya cos it give a me sense of compression of a city.
shinjuku got e best train station, u go there u got hairwire, is e most businest train station.
both place more like biz stay.
if u wan to stay shibuya, u can try excel shibuya, price ard 20-25kyen(likely less den 300sgd after tax), sometimes very hot , diff to book, is a biz hotel , so call chick may have a problem.

Depends where you're heading to. A lot of malls around Shinjuku station. If you're coming from Narita, Narita Express does stop over here. For Haneda, you can take the airport limousine bus instead. Very convenient with Shinjuku Bus Terminal - there's many highway buses to other parts of Japan.
