I usually stay at Orange Hotel in Jinsong.

æ¡”å**水晶酒店集团官网_旗下两大å“*牌桔å**水晶酒店和桔å**酒店

Another hotel I stay at is near the airport, at Shunyi. Cheap and good. Pretty new. Green Tea chain of hotels.

The Orange chain has a few hotels right smack in the city. Just don't take the rooms without the windows. The rooms are pretty nice and clean.

Orange hotel has room for 3 pax? I try searching for it but there isnt any option for me to add a bed.

What are the area that is in the city? First time to beijing. Confuse abt the area.

How are you getting around Beijing? Not by tour or car I would assume if not then you won't be fretting about location of hotel.

So, since you will be getting around by public transport, metro and maybe bus. Have you printed out the metro map? Which attractions/sights will you be going? Where are these attractions/sights located on the metro map?

I don't like Wangfujing so I don't stay near the area. The other stop within walking distance to Wangfujing is Dengshikou.

I won't recommend staying near the Beijing Main Station either.

Jianguomen is a pretty accessible location. Ibis Jianguomen is walking distance to 2 metro stations. It's opposite the Silk Market. I don't fancy the Silk Market either. Ibis Jianguomen has mixed reviews. Personally for the price I paid years ago, it was ok. But the price has gone up. There's a Crystal Orange at Jianguomen too. Walking distance between Ibis Jianguomen and Crystal Orange.

You may want to check Holiday Inn Express near the Stadium. Sometimes they have special deals.

If you want to be right smack in Wangfujing, there's Novotel Beijing Peace, Crowne Plaza Wangfujing. Their prices are about S$100 ++.

I went to check novotel beijing peace, quite like it but on those booking website they do not have any triple room or room for 3 pax. That alone left me with limited options.
