Happened with my outlook.com mail yesterday night, at the same time got unusual sign-in activity warning from microsoft, originate from UK region.
I've ignored it for a day, and now is fine, didn't do anything.

by the way, if you are syncing via imap, you should delete and sync as exchange if your outlook.com has been upgraded.
