How can TPG ever be profitable?

4G will be here to stay for at least 10 years or so. Normally capital amortisation will take over 5-7 years. TPG is also bring up their 5G network (I forget which bandwidth ) and possibly leasing from the other 2 telco 5G license holder (for other bandwidth).

To be frank, not many uses 50/80GB every month. Once TPG show that their network is like SH level, it will attract more users.

How? Getting infrastructure up, excellent coverage and speed, and then just start charging honestly.

Until then, it remains at the stage of losses in order to attract customers. That's the reality of any new business anyway.

Unlike Singtel etc, TPG seems operating with very low headcounts, withtout any fancy outlets, or call center. If can attract 1 million lines (quite easy to achieve, just need 30% of the customers from each existing telco) , with people going for $18/month, then one month can get at least around 18 millions revenue, min $200 millions per year. Actually this could be very profitable, if their operating cost is very low.

if that's the case, is singtel too bloated? would they be on a headcount reduction to increase profitability?
