It's flaaar.

Like courage - we pronounce it as caaarage, not ca-owl-rage.

Or moustache - we pronounce it as maaastaash.

Just as there is a British or American or Australian or Canadian way, why can't there be a Singaporean way of pronouncing words?

Difference is where the stress is ... even for UK... 'flower' and 'flour' are not exactly the same. Where the stress is placed is important. This concept s just completely alien to sinkies
