It's flaaar.

Like courage - we pronounce it as caaarage, not ca-owl-rage.

Or moustache - we pronounce it as maaastaash.

Just as there is a British or American or Australian or Canadian way, why can't there be a Singaporean way of pronouncing words?

You can write a dictionary to promote singaporean way of pronunciation loh... maybe one day we will amdk/dls say flaah instead...

"flar" pronunciation is due to the vowel coalescence feature of traditional received pronunciation
"flower" is contemporary received pronunciation
