why house brand should be cheaper than other brands?

in fact they should price it higher because of the quality it represents based on its affliation with PAP which has a longstanding record of being corrupt free, caring for citizens etc.

I find some of their pricing on the higher end too and i doubt its because of higher cost or quality.. at least not all the time..

like the cashew snack retail 4.90.. the potato stick snack 5 small individual pack and overall also very little and i dont even find it taste nice yet its selling at 4.70.. and the chips also, keep coming out with very weird flavour.. this kind of pricing there's many other better alternatives liao.. most of the time keep see them lelong b1f1, 2 for x dollar or put it in the 99 Linkpoint rewards..

I think some of their newer house brand product really fail, like keep releasing for the sake of releasing.. if not even price competitive, then why will i even pick or try them over those big brands that delivers a known standard already..

Since when is outsourcing cheaper? It improves cash flow, not saves money.
