I used to see one filipinos cai png stall in a foodcourt…. I think business was bad and closed after few months.

I recalled many mashy type/ stew dishes and some fried meat dishes …

they are here long time liao
same batch as thai and indo
but til now rarely see their food, only got jollybee nia

even vietnam overtake them liao, go everywhere also see pho and roti shop

now myanmar also like rising here
They’re incredibly talented at singing, not at cooking. The cuisine is reputedly the worst in SEA. Jollibee is American fast food, and was founded by a Chinese.

Pinoy food not exactly well-known on world stage. Had sisig, bulalo, lomi (their version of lor mee). Nothing worth going back for.

Perhaps too close to some Chinese and Indonesia cuisine.. not different enough like Nonya dishes to make a mark in the market... you go google their famous adobo dishes.. almost like Chinese home cooking except they uses vinegar...

I got a colleague ever cook but really like regular chinese dishes I may have cooked at home lor... maybe she added vinegar or something.. other than that it looks no different from home cook chinese dishes...

Too much like home cooked dishes.. it does not lent itself to market it differently... like chinese cooking got simple home cook style but also got restaurant type... that looks way different and taste different.

You can make your own paqpaq with ingredients from anywhere what.

See Filipino cuisine so universal! It's more fun in Philippines!
