Mostly no company will want to check your SAF record cause they already have the report when sent you for employment checkup.

However if they feel that you are cheating them such as Pes & etc, they can request your SAF record.

So if you want the job, you have to give company permission or else they will feels fishy.

What report are you referring about when you go for employment checkup? Have you heard of any real life examples of cases in which companies 'investigate' the pes and medical records of the employees?

I might be worried when I get SOL as they say it will be a blackmark and your employers will see it.

After you get yourself your 1st full time job & you know what is it about.

The 'companies' that I hear of are SAF, RSN, RSAF, SPF & etc because they needs you to have at least a PES B status.

For Pte sector i think they do't even care about it since you already declared your medical status & company doctor have given them your medical report about their finding.

medical records are now electronically stored, any person with the correct authorisation can easily churn a report for the whole formation....but then, it'll be audited & yes ISAC details will be recorded unless u using another person's ISAC to do it

Not sure. But I want to know the punishment to offence book that clearly states (A) will result in Extra, (B) will result in SOL etc.

My friend SOL when in recruit due to misfire, he damn emo, but OC say it is okay, he told the CSM "not to write it down".

I know misfire is a huge thing even if it is not a live round, but ruining your future is too much, not so much the SOL. SOL 7 days is better compared to 5 extras.

Whatever punishment you get, informal or formal punishment will stay within the military organisation. No one will know if you dont say.

However, employers related to the govt sector will be able to retrieve the records, private organisations may also retrieve the records, but to a certain extent, requires more effort and paper work.

Therefore, unless your employer is very concern about your military record, if not, why bother? :D

So the conclusion is, if any company wants your record, they can easily call up saf and retrieve your records?

Officially charged if i am not wrong according to my CSM is only DB more than 14 days will be reflected on you Certificate of Service at the discression of the PC writing it. But DB 14 days+ confirm recorded within SAF. SOL he say he not sure
