How can I tell if the laptop bus is optimized?

from my basic understanding, there are times where the motherboard and the chipset or ram may not be optimized due to bottlenecks.

it is common knowledge that the computer can only function as fast as its slowest link. thus, i would like to know if there are any models in the market which are optimized from end to end.

Think u've to identify ur needs..then look for a laptop optimized to suit ur needs. Eg, a hardcore gamer vs a road warrior......
