Hi guys i already managed to do a 1-1 exchange. I understand from the cso that the phone in white box has been shipped to m1 ever since the launch of iphone 5s so it shld be brand new instead of refurbish. Not really sure how true is that.

Nvm. Just use it. Last time I was also particular about brand new or refurbish. But I got to realise, any iPhones will only stay with me for at most a year.

All of us change iPhone every year, isn't it? And long gone is the thinking that refurb sets selling value is lower when selling to dealers. Dealers are offering a HIGHER price for brand new exchanged set. e.g. iPhone 5 16gb with wty remaining-$570. Newly exchanged set at least $570+50. Just drop by mobile phone bazaar to get a feel.

So every year just before our iPhone warranty expire, just go and do an exchange. Then sell.

yes my set have only 1 dead pixel and they allow for exchange. From what i see, the staff more or less cant be bothered so they are fine to exchange.

As for how many set can we open, i m not sure. But i got the staff to open 2 set. The first set have some scuffs on the side. The second set is "perfect" to me so I took the 2nd set.

Hope this info helps:)
