How do you pronounce "Cant"?

The song "Can't smile without you" is American pronunciation. "Yew noe i kennnnn smilllle without uuuuu" is not British at all. It's kinda funny when a Brit sings it cos it sounds a little "wrong" as we're used to the American pronunciation. Our MSM is very American, not Brit.

When they say cant (US) i always think can or cannot?

Ya lor, for untrained ears like not so easy to differentiate. British pronunciation easier to distinguish, local pronunciation 'kenot' even better lol.
