How does preorder collect @ Orchard works?

Those who have pre-ordered iPhone 8, when you preordered on apple.com.sg and chose collect in store:

1) You get designated time to collect without Q?
or
2) Join in those walk in Q?

iirc if there are lots of crowd you'll be assigned to a different queue from the walk-ins.

There'll be a 1-1 session with a genius to attend to you.
Collect.

I have made a order successfully (collection at Apple store), however the card used to secure the order does not belong to me. Do I need the card owner to be present during collection (since payment is already charged to card as of now I believe)?

Is there anything else to take note apart from the order email confirmation? Will the iPhone also be sealed? Thanks!

The staff at the Apple Store will ensure that the name registered (and address) which is shown on the web order is the same as your NRIC. That is the details in the billing address.

When I collected for my Watch Series 3, there was no verification of the credit card. And yes, the iPhone or the product will be sealed.

Not genius. It will be all the specialists and Experts. Only during the morning time slot (8-11) you'll get the a few genius attending to you.

I think you would need a letter of authorization from your Mum and I think with a copy of her IC.

the good thing abt ordering from apple store, within the next 14days u could return with no question asked though for IPX it might come with a restock cost. If the set is broken make an appt with an Apple Genius they will determine if it warrant a 121 xchange. Otherwise buying from Apple store its always seal and they dont open to let you inspect to let u reject on the spot for an item u have purchased.
