Why go Palit FE? Best to add a bit and get an MSI or something. Much cooler and quieter. For the RAM, check the latest AMD memory compatibility list if you want to run it at full speed instead of 2133/2400

for palit FE - reason i got a attractive price for it, so decided on that :)
if spec vs spec. how is it as compared to the other brands' FE?

as for ram. on paper. its the only board in market now which can run at 3000mhz without OC.

But, why you need Predator X34 1440p 100hz for video editing? A 4k IPS monitor is better isn't it? Like a Dell P2715H.

presently i'm using 2 x U2715H + a 4K 21.5 inch broadcast monitor beside them.
So was was thinking if i have a 34 ultrawide (actually i'm leaning more towards the LG ultrawide now>)

but again . 34UC79G vs LG 34UC98, (Full HD) vs (WQHD), 144hz vs 60hz

the thought of getting a wide, curved new screen (toy) headache !! :p

If you are going to use it for your work as well, the colour accuracy of the 34UC98 will be far superior to the other one. However if you are going to use it just to game, the 144hz will feel much smoother but the resolution a bit small relative to monitor size

differences in in USB type C, so if you're using a MBP, can connect via that for the 99. Hope this helps :)

not content creator. but tiagong curve screens not ideal for editing.

I'm now using a 2560x1080 ultrawide with another 1080p screen. ultrawide for gaming and the other for fb/video/etc. The experience is awesome! If possible get a spacious desk.

don't get the S****** 3tb ... because inside is 3 platter drive with higher failure rate ...
the failure rate abnormally high compared to 2platter 2tb ....
there was also 3platter 2tb that had higher failure rate .... identifiable by the shallow C indent grove on the hdd casing ... deep groove then is 2 platter

need to use for both gaming + work.
the higher res is tempting but the 60hz.. is it too low?

coz wanna pa game on the ultrawide + editing (photo + video). + the 21.5 broadcast screen for final grading output only. what do you think
Hmm... If this is your aim, then go ahead ba. I was thinking your use is strictly professional only. Lol. My bad.

hitachi or toshiba better?
HGST (or Hitachi) have better reputation. But it's your luck that dictate which is good which is bad lol

Sent from PM me if you wanna build a DIY PC or wanna learn how to make one yourself :D using GAGT
