Of course they are thriving.. there is no natural predator in SG to keep their population in control unless NEA decide to act.

No they are not thriving due to low TFR, they suffer high stress living environment caused by rapid urbanisation and lack of secluded breeding grounds.......sounds familiar?

Unlike US, SG citizens do not have guns. The deers will do fine

Hope they don’t reproduce as fast as wild boar that we need to cook them later

how much greenery do we have now ?

other than the Central Catchment Area where our MacRitchie, Upper Seletar, Upper Peirce, and Lower Peirce are located, the other plot of land is Pasir Laba Military Training area.

the remaining r our airfields, offshore island and future HDB estate (like Simpang).

even our Central Catchment Area is under construction w Cross Island Line (CRL) running under it.

not much lands for a community of deers to thrive.

For your information, the deer meat that you eat at zhi cha stall is actually pork.šŸ˜„

l've been suspecting for quite some time, cuz there isn't many deer farms in Msia & Indon that can supply to the demand in Sg.

if they import from angmo countries, it gg to quite ex.

i know there r some deer farms in Riau Island cuz u can get deer meat satay in Pekanbaru

It means our lands and environment are fertile and conducive for wild life now but it may not be sustainable because SG is all about economy and defence.

When that plot is needed for economic or defence purposes then that land has to go. No excuses no exceptions. Hard truths
