Out of my stock portfolio, 80% is for investment meaning buy and HODL. 20% is for trading due to hand itchy. The rest of my monthly salary put into MMF. When market crash 20%-40% then will utilise the MMF. I don't exit my investment and ride the ups and down. Works well for me so far.

$2k from CPF OA and $3k cash monthly DCA into global market ETFs, the rest of my savings go into MMF for lump sum investment whenever I think the price is right.
