Depend on usage. Some 4GB is enough because they basically run basic stuffs. Some have 16GB and still shouting for more.

16GB. Multi-purposed computer. Gaming takes max 6GB, exporting media file in Adobe Premiere Pro takes abt 13GB. So 16GB shld be enough for most usage, and no need to buy overclocking RAMs unless u chasing benchmarks.
