Don't speak so soon man, pretty soon you won't be avoid them when the obviously-not-greedy manufacturers put them everywhere and charge extra while they quietly discontinue the cheaper non-RGB models.

The G502 mouse is already a good example of that RGB cancer. And I suspect the Cyrorig stuff are next.
