I don't intend to bring more than 200sgd le and that is 5 days 4 nights. Of course accomodation and airfare has been paid for. I don't think Taiwan need to spend so much in 1 day unless you want to buy lots of souvenir and food back to sg

It's enough, provided you don't eat restaurant everyday. My first Taiwan trip, I went to eat a few theme restaurants and I find that the food sucks and a total waste of money. Haha! End up bursting my budget.

That includes you don't do any shopping. For my case, I shop a lot when I'm over there and I tend to buy lots of their local products back.

Anyway, IMO, you are there for a holiday not a survivor game. No harm changing slightly more and spend comfortably and enjoy your life in Taiwan.

Theme restaurants are mostly good for ambience. Well, to each on his own. Just like some wanted to try it for the experience.

Personally, being there so many times, for a change, yes, some theme areas. Other than that, a good orluak 煎, plus a cup of bubble tea, can make my day.

I only tried Hello Kitty and Toilet theme restaurants. Both are equally bad enough to make me try out other theme restaurants.

My last trip, i went to one ramen shop at XMD for lunch. The food is good and about $10 per bowl? It was quite crowded during dinner time.

Go and try if u like the theme..Just dont expect so much from their food..Cos after all, what you're paying is mostly for the theme..
