How much to pay someone to build PC?

I plan to buy all my parts separately because it is cheaper. But I would like to pay someone to build it for me. How much is the market rate and where to find good ones?

For bulky items like casing and easy to spoil/rma such as PSU, GPU, I still plan to get from local shop. Can I request them to provide someone to help build, even though I don't buy all parts from them?

Lastly, if I were to buy all parts from a shop and ask them to build, can I expect to get discount off total price? usually how much would they offer?

PS: For those who will say to DIY, I really don't want to spend time doing cable management, understand how to install the PSU wiring. The motherboard, SSD, RAM, CPU are no brainer. It's the other parts such as aio cooler that are tiring and I'm willing to pay so I don't fry my motherboard because I didn't connect something correctly

Also, I saw some MOBO offers from Amazon US that are very cheap than the CPU+MOBO offer by local shops. Is it worth to risk and buy from overseas? But it means I can't RMA locally if sth happen right?

if you don't want to spend time building the system, then you should just buy a prebuild from shop like invader pc. i find them cheaper than buying all part from a shop in sim lim

When you talk about warranty, like CPU and MOBO, if you are going to RMA them, you properly have to dismember the whole thing, send them down and then reassemble them again yourself. not sure if you are comfortable doing it or not.

in addition, if you are not comfortable to dismember the pc yourself, most probably you are going to bring your whole cpu and cab down to somewhere for RMA. Cab down, Cab back and taking time off might not worth it to RMA.

Only thing is overseas RMA very troublesome, need to do registered mail etc which I thankfully never need to do yet. It's more of an in case something go wrong, should I buy from overseas or not?

i think if you buy the parts yourself and bring to simlim, most likely 100+. Last time i asked around for my friend and they quoted $100 because i didnt buy the parts in store.

i guess for the large item, if you are buyinh oversea, you are just saving on having no RMA. Some part sometime hard to spoil and people willing to gamble on it to save money. if you cannot accept no RMA, then buy local

I diy following YouTube. Super easy. As for cable management, nowadays chassis got a hidden compartment at the back to hide all the messy cables.

Really very easy though.

Your friend should just bring it to SLS or neighborhood PC shop for troubleshooting.

to be honest, i would charge $100 for such assembly.

although nowadays the DIY is so much easier, but in order to tidy up the cables and also make sure the items does FIT into the casing plays a part as well.
