How much voltage is recommended for my computer

Hi all,

I have a Acer predator G3600 desktop and i wish to change the gpu from nvidia gt 440 to msi gtx 770 Tf 4gb Oc, which psu should i get(or maybe the stock 500w psu will work?)? Would prefer it to be a modular psu.

The specs:

Intel i5-2500
8Gb 1333 G.skill Ram
2 x 1TB HDD
1 x Samung 840 ssd 250gb

actually any decent 400-450w power supply will do. U can get the new seasonic s12g series 450w, its 89 sgd with gold efficiency with the necessary 2 PCI-E 6/8 connectors for the GTX 770

Thanks for all those replies, but i have one more question,my friend told me to make sure my motherboard is able to run the new gpu, and im not sure what model the motherboard is, its an oem acer mobo so does anyone have any idea?

don't need change MOBO ba... your current de is pcie 2.0 should be can support 770 since new gpu are backward compatible, on the other hand you should take not that the new GPUs are relatively big ensure that your com case have enough space for it

mobo shld not be a prob as long hv pcie 2.0. just make sure casing is big enuff
