how much $ is needed to set up a 3d modelling workstation

anybody able to advice?how much would a average workstation cost to run 3d modelling software?now working on a laptop and thinking of moving to desktop.what will be the spec like?thanks in advance!

which software r u using? i'm also doing 3D modeling and simulations.
