I use the latest padavan also got problem :(

weird. i own like 3 N56U at different houses. None have the issue (after upgrade to Padavan) that you are facing. You might want to bring it to the servicecentre to get a replacement.

I use rt n66u. Sometimes 5ghz just stop working, then need to reset lo. Yanked out the front plastic cover and add a 80mm fan to cool the router. It's at 41-43 degree Celsius.

I think I will consider bringing down to service centre.

Are u saying u never have to on/off router weekly at least ? And my range is very bad also, from living room to bedroom line of sight will drop speed by around 50%.

M1 200mbps but never ever exceeded 130. Mostly 100 only even when I put the phone near router. Other ppl house can reach higher speeds with same phone.

Are there many walls in your house that may cause blind spot?

p/s, i disable 5ghz wireless from day1 since not using, also keeps it cooler... maybe u can try, see any diff with lower temps tho i doubt ur problem related to temps.

Using RT-AC68U. Only restart when changing settings or upgrade firmware.
