When I switched from Intel i5 to Ryzen R7, did a reformat and reinstall windows as advised on forums/reddit.

Other than that, Windows 10 has Refresh or Reset function. Very easy to regain performance by Windows 10 Refresh.

What is factory restore?

When I was your age, I had to run mscdex.exe if I wanted to install Windows 95.

I've been using windows 7 since mid 2013 till now still haven't factory restore.

Sometime feels really glitchy and weird lagging on chrome. App data folder 23GB.

What about yours?

i normally reload the image when my pc starts to behave weird/strange. once reload, everything is loaded nicely and i just need to make sure all my things work as before.

I have not done so for a very long time ever since I switched to my first SSD. If you feel that there are too many issues with the current installation, my recommendation is to format and do a clean install instead.

Reinstalling all your programs is a big hassle....

I think I'll just wait till big problem start ups then i consider clean install
