How often you clean your PC?

using the air duster i MO from another forum. cleaning done within minute.

my idle cpu temperature drop by 2-3 degree.

Noticed a lot less dust buildup after switching to a positive pressure case design with filters at every intake fan. Only clean the filters when I remember to.

For those scared of getting cannot boot problems, can get a can of electronics contact cleaner from SLT at about $13. This stuff evaporates in seconds and does its job.
Spray it on the RAM contacts and RAM slots, plug in and out to clean the contacts, and your PC will boot like a champ again. Also works on PCI slots, etc etc.

Casing without side window is not obvious to eyes as dust accumulate on the fans and internal.

Nowadays, casings do come with dust filters to reduce amount of dust entering the casing. This helps to reduce the frequency needed to clean the internal. So, most minor cleaning is removing the dust of the filters.

As I'm replacing wireless adapter, I decided give my PC a spring cleaning on Sat morning. Out of curiosity, I googled to find out how often should I clean my PC. I'm getting different opinions from google. So I'm doing little survey to see how often the bros and sis here clean their PCs.

and rest of the casing using a small brush
