Last Dec quite cold in taipei with little to no rain. Temp around 10 to 15c when I'm active. Dunno the temp when I'm sleeping. Also went to Taichung. It is hot even with t-shirt and bermudas.

best time to visit taiwan. sunny and clear days with cool to cold weather on most days. can be cloudy and foggy on other days but little rain. temp is around 13-20 degrees.

June-August is the worst time to visit. Hot ,humid and typhoon season. 35 degrees everyday. temp only starts to drop in mid to end october.

Just back from Taiwan.. Super hot I expected about 16-20 deg but was hot even in mountain area up to 27! In Taipei is better, quite rainy now but lowest was still about 22. Think this year a lot countries hotter than usual but mid next week Taiwan will drop to below 20 alr.. I went at a bad time.. ESP Kaohsiung super hot :(

This year the weather is a bit hotter and autumn comes late. That's why some trees have not turned to autumn red and are dropping leaves already.

Is the weather forecast accurate? Saw some people commenting Taichung is very hot although it says only maximum 27degree there... So prefer to hear from ppl who have just been there. Thanks though for the link!

Why bother to forecast if it is not accurate? Today's weather does not represent tomorrow's weather.

Lately weather erratic.
I guess they thinking how much winter clothings to prepare.

Weather forecast is as accurate as it gets. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. Last year Dec I was wearing tshirt and Bermudas in green green grassland. But the next day cold like sh*t.
