How to cease using 'cheque book'?

I have CIMB starsaver account with cheques. No fall below fee and so far no cheque charges and no interest is payable for balance below $xxx. My balance is less than $200 for a very long time since SCB and Maybank start offering better savings rates.

Oh i didn't realise StarSaver is a combined saving cum current account! Hoorayy! Can good bye to my posb current acc which i have paid $2 / month for more than 10 years

After issue cheque u quickly transfer the $ inside la

Be sure to transfer b4 the opp party cash out

Previously I issued to HSBC bank. Because the sum is huge so i didn't transfer in immediately. I monitor it very very closely. Then 1 night after 12 midnight my posb current acc turn deficit i hurriedly tranfer the amount over. Was worried to ganna overdraft fee but surprisingly didn't happen.

The correct way is to make sure fund is transferred in before opp party bank in the cheque

Testing the tnc seems to say must leave $5k there for 6 months then can get the referral fee :( i don't think I'll leave there for 6 months. anyway will just try our luck.
