Everyone been recommending earphone and headphones and player.
But how to choose a amplifier? Hope pro can share your views.
As saw the amplifier price ranges a lot and wide difference.
Any tips to share?

Thanks. =)

Choosing an amp is akin to choosing headphones. You try them out and see which kind of sound appeals to you.

well there are many school of thoughts.

and i belong to the "if ur headphones no need extra juice, then no need amp; it would be the source issue"

some amps purposely bring color to music, some make it warmer and more engaging. some boost the bass (digizoid ZO2) or widen the soundstage (C&C BH with SF switch on).

and then there are tube amps.....:D

Can choose an amp that complements your iem/headphone. like getting one that has the bass boost function if you feel that it is lacking sometimes.

Or get one with a lock feature like the Fiio amps if you are going to use it outdoors often; mine (Hippo CriCri+) does not have one and I am regretting it now, planning to swap it for a Fiio E07K (I am ok with its SQ though) :O

Depends on what soundstage u're looking for. I'm using my reshelled TF10 with an added mid driver and couple it together with my RSA Predator for that punchy sound which I love.

Ic... Cause I saw big huge difference in term of brand.

Like
fiio ranges less than 200
Ibasso ranges 200+
Rsa ranges 500+?!

I was thinking is there anything special about them which cause so much diff. I personally used fiio e7 but after nearly. 2 years of usage it port gives problem and it seems the old fiio e7 mostly suffered that problem after googling.. =_= kinda doubt whether should buy that brand of product again... Or they had changes their port to a better one which I am unsure...

I got my RSA Predator at Jaben last time for $775. Think Stereo should have them for less.

Snow, and I'm pairing my predator with TF 10 also haha...just that mine is not reshelled

I reshelled mine as my first pair's connector broke, then I also bought another pair and transferred my custom eartips to it. The reshelled one is totally awesome!

Yes as I've no choice as the drivers are still gd... So add one mid driver and the results are outstanding!
