How to clean Razer Sphex Mousepad?

I already made my Barracuda lite spoil cause i scratched the surface shiny with liquid hand soap and my fingernails so now my razer naga hex won't work with the Barracuda Lite

Hope to prevent this from happening to this sphex cause its one of the smallest mousepads left on the market.

Any ideas how I can care for this mouse surface?
