hi

Over the years i amassed some stuff

for example uni matriculation letter, old notesbook with my scribbles la , random stuff lah

then yesterday went to dispose some of them amounted to a big bag of rubbish
but the process is so tiring having to sieve thru n check all stuff not containing sensitive details and impt warranty letter etc

then finally decide to throw and some have to keep and repack. Took me
whole night and i only done one drawer

haha. Hard to be a minimalist

Do a garage sale at your house, your junk may be useful to others. Some for cheap sale, other small items give FOC. You may be able to get rid of 60-80% of unwanted stuff. The rest can dispose off...

Be tidy in the first place. All impt doc in one place, sort by category. Those with sentimental value in another dedicated place

Rather easy... I bring to office, use the shredder. Gao dim. All my past pay slips, job offer letters, increment letters, promotion letters...

Of course, your office need to have those commercial heavy duty ones that can even shred CD/DVD types... mine does.

I did the same when my sister passed. I have to request Town Council to have a large green bin in the void deck for me to dispose all her items as well as removal of furnishing.
