How to fight for OCS?

Hi, how the officer select those from BMT to become OCS? i am gng to enter Tekong soon, please help

be garang, take initative, always volunteer.. but when u do make sure u know wat u are doing b4 making a fool of urself

have at least silver ippt, soc oso must pass, SIT Test talk sense, DO NOT keep quiet, when asked do u want to be an officer say 10

be good to ur platoon mates, make sure they think highly of u, and not u are juz another cockie ******* that sabos the platoon, get good peer appraisal, get ur commander attn for being a good recruit

No need pass SOC bah. I think my plt those who got OCS also never pass but IPPT confirm need do well la. I would say SIT test is a very important component though

abt SOC req, quite likely it may be linked to whether the coming OCC has intake for air/mids wing [usually it's the army side that places alot of emphasis on SOC]. but maybe army wings dont bother so much abt that when inducting?

Not always true ... I've a personal experience.

Guy 1: Quiet, Simple minded, Do what is told, Humble, Nice.

Guy 2: Garang, Always be the first to wake up and do things, Volunteer to be everything, Gold IPPT, never talk cock either, Say want to be officer from the start.

Guy 1 -> OCS
Guy 2 -> SISPEC

no. if you got temp pes C status means you will not be eligible for combat fit BMT, thus disqualifying you from command school selection.

if u wan sign on officer, then go ocs, if not be CPL can liao, then ur ICT time u will be shiok

Why bother to be officer?
Just be a CPL/LCP, serve your NS with as little fuss as possible and enjoy life.
With more responsibility you get more sh1t to handle

Get ippt silver at least best if gold.. Then wayang and wayang. After that, wayang some more until cannot wayang. Then wayang some more... Why dun jus get pes e and be clerk, lol

sure... you can purposely go break a limb or something... but then you will have cause irreparable damage to your body. you will have it easy for the two years of ns but the disability caused by the damage will be with you for life.

are you sure you want to be an officer, serve an imaginary 'company' that bleeds you till 50, and unlike men level (CPL and below), you get the honorous privelege of reporting for ICT 1-2 weeks earlier before them and leaving 1-2days after them?

that bar is useless once you step outside camp. if you're soooo hardup for ocs you still can buy those ridiculous ocs singlets outside/emart lor. hahahaha
