How to hard reset when home button is dead?

iPhone just went dead this morning... heard about the hard reset method where i need to press the power button & home button for a while...

but my home button is "DEAD"

so how now?

i can get through when i call my iPhone but no display at all :(

If it's jailbroken.
SSH into the device.

Else wait until the battery dies :s22:

You can use the assertive touch control under the accessibility setting. It will give you an on-screen home button. Hope this help

hahha I rsther wait for battery to empty haha
and go un- screw then later can't go ask for rma unless still got warrenty covered

hahha I rsther wait for battery to empty haha
and go un- screw then later can't go ask for rma unless still got warrenty covered

at least for my iPhone 4, there is no warranty seal anywhere outside or inside of the phone... so it's fine

Oops sorry about that, so draining or removing of battery is the only way
