How to open IPhone 6 without the passcode

Hi guys, my dad just passed away and we need to get to his phone some data and information but he has 6 passcode and he is using iPhone 6. Any way to open his phone without using the passcode?

You can google for more answers but apparently it is NO unless you know the Apple ID he was using.

You may have to contact Apple for more information. They may be able to help you reset the Apple ID.

the only way is to find out the apple credentials when first setting up the phone.

if use sms verification, make sure the sim card is on another phone as since iphone locked u won't be see the message content.

2ndly, if the backup is done to icloud storage. u are in luck. u can use another iphone to try restore and download all contents to another phone. (making sure that u have all the content before erasing the iphone locked)

also don't bother looking for apple. they won't assist you in this matter.
