Seems like they are all boss fight encounters? Something like Demon Souls? They would probably be popular games to demo in the game shops of old where the ah beng salesman would sit there to play the whole day. Why don't game shops do that anymore?

Not sure if all the same but for MH Rise need to build armour with all sorts of benefits

the purpose of such games is the exciting combat. team up with own mates to fight difficult boss battles etc.

same thing like why some gamers play souls like games even though the games are extremely hard with high learning curve.
