How to port forward on Singtel Nokia G240 ONR?

Recently changed broadband subscription from M1 to SingTel and technician installed the Nokia G240 ONR together with a SingTel Mesh Router. To my knowledge, the ONR serves as modem + router and the Mesh Router merely serves as an access point.

I'm trying to port forward 25565 onto my PC to host a Minecraft server for friends but it seems to have been unsuccessful so far.

My PC is connected to the ONR through ethernet cables in this configuration.
Nokia ONR -------- Singtel Mesh Router (Set to AP) ----------- PC

I've tried port forwarding to my PC on the ONR but the port remains closed through testing on the server and on online open port checkers.

I've also connected my laptop directly to the ONR through ethernet cable and tried port forwarding to my laptop. Port still remains closed.

Does SingTel have some restrictions put in place?

I read on other threads that the ONR could be set to bridging mode so that I can use my old Lyra Trio as my router instead of the ONR. If I use this configuration and port forward on my Lyra instead would that work?

I've also called SingTel and the customer support guy said he would consult the tech team and get back to me in 1-2 days. SingTel customer support has been notoriously bad for me so I'm not counting on them to provide me with a solution.

Any advice would be appreciated.

As mentioned in the other thread, you are on your own now -- the best is to avoid Singtel as they stop to entertain bridging request since March 2022.

Similar question for Port 32400 for Plex.

Hi Toshni123. Singtel does not block any of its ONR ports. The configuration adopted by Singtel is TCP port 32400 which is generally used to access Plex Media Server to access music, pictures and videos stored on one computer, with any other computer or compatible mobile device.

Singtel ONR does not support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and NAT Port Mapping Protocol (NAT-PMP) auto-configuration that allows Plex Media Server to automatically configure a forwarded port on the router. However, customers can setup manual port forward to allow remote access to Plex Media Server.

@delishad21, where you able to solve your issue with port forwarding? What Singtel did on their side? I'm having issue as well on port forwarding on my Nokie G-240-G
